[If you find your self in the Ventura/LA area this friday night or sunday morn let me know! Cool community art projects & Easter celebrations are happening. :) ]
i recently purchased this camera to celebrate springtime and wildflowers and everything beautiful. and i, along with my sweet friend raeanna have decided to make this spring (and summer..and probably the rest of my life), a season full of film. i have an instax mini camera and am always taking photos with it but it isnt hard to make a polaroid-esque photo look good. i am going to make an effort to be better at film photography, starting with my new fisheye camera, and possibly moving onto bigger and better film cameras. by no means am i a photographer and i am not claiming to be! i just think there is something special about the care and dedication that goes into each film photo—you only get one shot! (plus i am over digital—iphone photography is enough digital for me!) so i am going to try my hand at it. i will document my journey here, and hopefully you will see some improvement! anyone is welcome to join rachel and i on our film journey of the warmer months by using the hashtag #springonfilm on tumblr or instagram, along with #fisheyewednesdays or #polaroidsundays if they fit the occasion!
Cheers to challenges and photos and film!
